In the update scheduled for Sep 1, 2026, we will be making partial changes to the mechanics of "Shared Buffs"—buffs applied to allies by characters in your party.

■ Shared Buffs After the Change
▼ Shared Buffs in Party Setup
・If the character who activated the buff is removed from the party, only the Shared Buffs granted by that character to allies will be removed.
・If the character who activated the buff remains in the party, the Shared Buffs will persist even if you switch your controlled character.
・Once removed, a Shared Buff will not automatically reactivate if the originating character is returned to the party; it must be activated again by using the skill.
・Buff effects that a character applies to themselves will remain unchanged.

▼ Shared Buffs in Multiplayer
・Shared Buffs granted by another player remain active as long as the originating character is in that player's party.
・If the player who activated the Shared Buff switches their controlled character, the buff persists as long as the originating character remains in their party.
・If the originating character is removed from that player's party, or if that player leaves the session, the Shared Buffs from that source will be removed.

■ Purpose of the Change
This change is intended to ensure that the roles of characters currently in your party are properly reflected as strengths of that party composition.
With this change, it will no longer be possible to switch party members inside a dungeon while retaining only the Shared Buffs from characters who have been removed from the party. We are also considering the implementation of new equipment or effects in future updates that would allow characters serving as buffers or debuffers to change their element to one of your choosing.

■ Summary
You will still be able to switch between active characters freely, just as before.
Shared buffs will only be removed if you alter the party composition itself and remove the character providing the buff.

As an apology for this change in specifications, we will distribute 3,000 Star Stones during the maintenance scheduled for Sep 1, 2026.
